New Zealand wines perfect for this month

£125.00

A mixed case of Sauvignon Blanc’s and Pinot Noir’s from some of New Zealand’s most iconic Producers.

Dog Point, Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 2022

Our version of the classic dry aromatic style of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The citrus core of flavours are juicy and intense with deliciously refreshing saline acidity. The wine calls for simple fresh seafood but can also be enjoyed as a pre-dinner aperitif.

Saint Clair, ‘Origin’ Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 2023

Textbook Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc from a pioneering Marlborough producer. Tropical aromas of passionfruit, guava and blackcurrant combine with nettle and subtle chalky mineral notes. The rich, full palate with grapefruit and blackcurrant leaf has herbaceous overtones and a delicate sea salt character, through to a long, mineral finish. A real crowd-pleaser.

Saint Clair, ‘Origin’ Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand 2022

A flavoursome Kiwi Pinot Noir from a pioneering Marlborough producer. Aromas of ripe red berries are interlaced with spice and blackcurrant bud. The palate is full and rich, with flavours of vibrant red berries, layered with warm, spiced fruit through to a silky finish.

Faultline, Marlborough, New Zealand 2022

New Zealand is rightly famed for its Sauvignon Blancs and this is a cracker. It has plenty of the tropical fruit you would expect, but it is nicely balanced by the herbaceous characters, so the grapefruit and lime flavours are not too overpowering. Great for drinking on its own or with salads or seafood – and excellent value for money.

Dog Point, Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand 2020

A bright perfumed, supple expression of Marlborough pinot noir from clay hill slopes. The fruit is supported by bright florals of rose and violets with crunchy red berry fruit and dried herb notes. The palate is succulent with alluring red cherry, brown spices and silky fine boned tannins.

Dog Point, Sauvignon Blanc, Section 94, Marlborough, New Zealand 2018

A complex full bodied style of Sauvignon Blanc with a chalky minerality and fresh herbal influence, complimented by a vibrant acidity which gives the wine focus. Suggested food matches for Section 94 include fish (particularly salmon), poultry and soft white cheeses.
