From arguably the most iconic Champagne house of them all, Bollinger Rosé is a wonderful wine. On the nose, hints of red currant, cherry and wild strawberry along with a spicy touch. The palate has good structure, length, depth and vivacity, with a tannic finish due to the addition of red wine. A velvety mousse and lingering flavours of wild berries. Pairs well with many foods, especially Japanese cuisine and fruit-based desserts – or can even be served with afternoon tea. A superb counterpoint to the Special Cuvée.

Bollinger was founded in 1829 in the village of Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, and is still family-owned to this day. In 1884, it became the first Champagne to be awarded a Royal Warrant, which it has held ever since. Bollinger also has several iconic partnerships, in particular as the preferred Champagne of James Bond.
Bollinger is famous for its use of Pinot Noir, reserve magnums and oak ageing techniques, and is defined as much by its vines and terroir as its blending and vinification. Sustainability and organic principles are key to its philosophy, with Bollinger the first Champagne house to be awarded the Haute Valeur Environmentale certification.
Bollinger is one of the very few Champagne houses to produce the majority of its own grapes, boasting 178 hectares of vineyards, which are planted with 85% Grand and Premier Cru vines.
A newcomer to the range, only created in 2008, Bollinger Rosé is a highly technical wine. A small amount (between 5% and 6%) of Pinot Noir is vinified as red wine, helping to add a powerful element to the finished wine.
