This wonderful Champagne House was one of the original 26 Grandes Marques and although it was acquired by the Bollinger family in 2005 it remains and still is the archetype of a great Champagne House. Established in 1860 in Aÿ, and surrounded by the area’s most prestigious vineyards, the Brut Majeur epitomises the dry and elegant House style.
The wine compromises the 3 main grapes, with 45% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meniuer which beautifully combine to provide a fresh, precise fruity Champagne with a long finish. It will also harmoniously accompany every moment of the meal: white fish, shellfish, poultry, or a cheese platter.
