Chateau Lestrille Capmartin, Merlot Blend, Bordeaux Superieur, Bordeaux, France
Château Lestrille Capmartin wines are full bodied, with structure and personality. The Château is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux. Following the philosophy that winemaking lies in the vineyard itself, sustainable winegrowing practices are used in order to respect the balance of the soil. The grapes were picked at optimum maturity. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Bottling took place after 18 months. A medium-bodied Bordeaux showing concentrated baked fruit aromas backed by delicate oaky notes complemented by a robust finish. Very drinkable!
