Their wine takes the name from the beautiful princess Adelasia, wife of the 1st Lord of Monferrato, Aleramo. Cortese (synonymous with Gavi) is a lovely grape typically grown in Piemonte area, North Western Italy. Made from the Cortese grape and having fermented in stainless steel to produce a dry and fresh wine with hints of pear and lemon and white pepper on the finish. A perfect accompaniment to salads, fish or ideal as an aperitif.
