Stanton & Killeen are a historic producer of sweet wines in Rutherglen. The Muscat á Petits Grains Rouges is also known as ‘Rutherglen Brown Muscat’, the Classic has the perfect balance of old and young notes, blended to create this stunning fortified wine with an average age of 12 years. It has a wonderful dark caramelised butter appearance, with smells of Turkish delight, expresso and cocoa. Very well balanced and complex palate of rich raisin fruit, rose petal, and dried fig. The finish is long but not too sweet. Perfect as an after-dinner drink with coffee and dark chocolate. An essential accompaniment to any Christmas celebration.
